donations & PERMISSION SLIPS
Donations from parents are the only source of funding for the 8th grade graduation dance, so we ask that you please consider donating to this special celebration. Also, every student will be required to submit a permission slip in order to participate. Students will not be allowed into the dance without a permission slip on file.
There are two options to donate and give permission for the graduation celebration:
Option 1: Donate and sign the permission slip online via the UMS Web Store - bit.ly/UMSstore
This is the preferred option! Note: In order to donate and sign the permission slip online, you must add two items to your cart: 1) the HSC Grad Dance donation; and 2) the HSC Grad Dance permission slip.
Option 2: Print and fill out the permission slip & donation form and deliver to the UMS office

Baby Pictures
We would like to collect both a baby picture and current picture of your 8th grader to include in a slideshow that will be viewed at the Graduation Dance. The baby pictures are a traditional activity enjoyed by the students every year and we want to include every 8th grader if we can!

Dancing will only be a small, optional part of the event - there will be a variety of other activities for the students to enjoy throughout the evening.
Students will wear their graduation clothes from the ceremony right into the dance. No gowns, tuxedos or gym clothes please. Students can dress up but should be comfortable and following all school dress code guidelines.
The dance will take place immediately following the graduation ceremony at approximately 3:30 pm. After the ceremony, kids can meet their parents, take pictures and then head into the festivities. The dance will end at 6:30 pm so please be ready to pick up your students at that time. Similar to other dances, students will not be able to leave the dance without a parent checking them out.
Students do not need a date! This is an occasion to come and have fun with friends!
Cell Phone Policy: Students may bring their phones to the graduation celebration. However, unless explicit permission is granted by the other party, we are asking that out of respect to all parties, students do not take, post, or upload pictures during or after the event.
