Greetings to our wonderful Union Middle School Volunteers and Families:
Our district will be hosting a Helping Harvest Festival for our community at Dartmouth Middle School on Saturday, October 29th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Dr. Andrews' message about the event was just sent out on Parent Square. It explains our desire to bring our schools together (for the first time ever) to celebrate our community while helping support some very worthy local causes. Along with providing a vaccination clinic, the event will offer our students and families fun activities, music, food trucks, caring messages, sock and food donations, and games. We hope you can stop by this free family-friendly event.
UMS Home and School Club plans to participate by hosting a small table and we will be collecting dry and canned non-perishable goods to donate for our Thanksgiving food drive including: canned beans, canned soup, canned pumpkin, canned cranberries, stuffing mix, boxes of instant mashed potatoes, boxes of Mac and Cheese, canned or boxed gravy, rice, etc. Please stop by the UMS HSC booth to make a donation.

Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! The Union Middle School Home and School Club (UMS HSC) is a nonprofit organization committed to raising and distributing funds for programs that directly benefit UMS students. We support our school through teacher and staff funds, grants, student programs, as well as technology and facility improvements. This year, our primary way to fundraise will be through the Annual Membership Drive. We rely on your generous donations to hit our fundraising goals. If your employer provides Corporate Matching, this is another way for you to double your donation and help support Union Middle School students, teachers, and school programs.
Please read our full welcome back letter for more details on how to support the UMS HSC and learn about how to get involved. Visit our HSC website for updates and information all year long.

Supporting All Artists Big and Small!
We are providing a platform for aspiring young artists to sell their masterpieces! 75% of the proceeds will be given back to local young artists to support their work, and 25% will be donated to Art Vistas so we can continue to support budding artists in the community.
How does it work? The young artist simply needs to provide their art piece, and we will do all the work to showcase their work. Once item sells, we'll coordinate the delivery or pickup with the buyer and send the proceed to the artist. If you know of any young artists who would like to participate, please have them contact us for details!
Celebrate your 8th grade UMS promotion with a yard sign! Each sign is $34.95. Sign my Yard will deliver your sign and put it up in your yard. For every sign purchased, $10 will be donated to UMS HSC. The UMS HSC provides this yard sign service for those interested in purchasing, but your participation is entirely optional.
